Like many other cities in the world, Amsterdam has its own 'China Town'. This is an area where Chinese businesses/shops/restaurants tend to group together.

The Amsterdam China Town centers near Nieuwmarkt Square. It runs from Nieuwmarkt square into southern direction, along Zeedijk and Geldersekade until Stormsteeg.
In this area you'll find many authentic Chinese restaurants, some businesses and 'tokos' - shops with asian food and household articles.

The city has added Chinese names to the street name plates in China Town.

On Zeedijk you can see the Chinese (Buddhist) temple, the Fo Guang Shan He Hua Temple.
