Ash cloud will not cause problems today in Dutch air space

The ash cloud caused by the Icelandic volcano has reach the far northern part of the Dutch air space, but this does not cause problems for air traffic in the Netherlands.

Yesterday, some flights were cancelled from Amsterdam to Northern Germany. The German airports of Bremen and Hamburg are closed for the day.
It is possible that the airport of Berlin will be closed later today, so that flights between Amsterdam and Berlin have to be cancelled.

Dutch air traffic control does not expect more problems to develop in the course of the day.
