The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam's modern art museum, will temporarily open its doors to the public.
The museum has been closed for renovation and expansion for 7 years, and an official re-opening date has yet to be established.
This has raised many eye brows in Amsterdam, which may explain that the museum will temporarily reopen.
The old building is more or less finished, so that part will be open. The new wing will remain closed for the time being.
The museum will be open until January 9, 2011. There will be two exhibitions, Taking Place and Monumentalism.
