For November 20 a strike has been announced for all public transport in the cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague.
The strike lasts 24 hours, and affects the municipal buses, trams and metros run by the GVB transport company.
Not affected are:
- the ferries
- regional buses (such as the ones run by Arriva or Connexxion)
- trains (this also includes the trains between Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport).
The reason for the strike is the privatization of the municipal transport companies, as intended by the current government.
