Amsterdam metro tunnel CS - Amstel Station closed for one more week

The scheduled maintenance period for the metro tunnel between Central Station and Amsterdam Amstel Station is extended with an extra week

The work was scheduled to be ready on Monday the 18th of August, but testing of the safety mechanisms took longer than expected.

The tunnel is now due to be reopened on August 25.

The shuttle buses that go up and down between Central Station and Amstel station will continue to operate until the work is done.
