The hotels in Amsterdam have done well in 2005. The revenue per room, as well as the occupancy rate increased.
This is shown by a KPMG report about the revenue of hotel rooms in Europe.
Amsterdam is number 5 on the list of hotel room revenue, with an average of E 89 per night. An average room in the British capital London made E 143, followed by Paris with almost E 140 and Edinburgh with E 131.
With an occupancy rate of 77.5% Amsterdam ranks second in Europe.
