Amsterdam has most expensive hotels in Europe

After a price increase of 5%, hotels in the Netherlands are the most expensive in the Euro zone, together with Italian hotels.

Dutch hotels have an average room price per night of EUR 100.

Worldwide, hotels in the Netherlands rank number 17.

Amsterdam remains the most expensive (and most popular) city in the Netherlands. After a price increase of 8% last year, the average room price is EUR 115 in Amsterdam.
Even prices in the neighbouring town of Haarlem increased, because of the demand in Amsterdam.

After a few years of decline due to the economic crisis, the popularity of Amsterdam is on the rise again.
