Amsterdam bridges have problems due to hot weather

Because of the continuing heatwave, several of the bridges in Amsterdam experience problems.

Some bridges have problems with opening and closing, causing delays for boats on the river Amstel, and some canals.

The bridge next to the Amstel Hotel also does not admit trams any more. Line 10 and line 7 therefore experience problems.
The Berlage bridge (near the Amstel train station) also had trouble opening and closing.
