The 26th Amsterdam Antiquarian Book & Print Fair will open on Thursday March 3, in the Passengers Terminal Amsterdam.
The Fair announces on its website that it has reserved the PTA building for the next 10 years.
Previous editions of the Fair were held in the RAI Congress Centre, but now the Fair has acquired this much more central location (just East of the Central Station).
The Rijksprentenkabinet (National Print Collection), part of The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, has agreed to take care of this year's fair exhibition. On show will be highlights from the collection of Simon Emmering (1914-1999), the renowned Amsterdam antiquarian bookseller. These prints and books are now in possession of Het Rijksprentenkabinet. No doubt this exhibition will be an extra stimulus for visiting librarians, private collectors and antiquarian booksellers.
