Amsterdam Amstel is one of the bigger train stations in Amsterdam.
The intercity train to Utrecht stops here.
The station has many bus connections and also connects to the two metro lines to Amsterdam South-East (to e.g. the office area in Amsterdam South-East and the AMC Hospital).

Currently (2016/2017) the area around the station is undergoing many changes. They're building a tall hotel, and the bus station is going to be changed.
