The American Hotel, one of the most famous hotels of Amsterdam, has been sold to the Eden Group.
The Eden Group is a group of 7 hotels run by the Dijkstra family.
The American Hotel (built in 1902) is famous for its architecture, a beautiful example of Art Nouveau style.
The Eden Group wants to bring it back to its original splendour, including the famous restaurant/café that is part of the building.
