The Netherlands have one single website that gives detailed information (in Dutch or English) of all public transport connections in the entire country (all buses, trams, metros, trains and public ferries).
You can enter the starting point of your journey and the destination, then the website will give you the best options available. It incoorporates information about delays, scheduled works etc.
The service is also available as an app on Android and Apple devices.
