The so-called air marshalls (special under-cover police officers travelling on planes, to prevent hijackings) are temporarily cancelled.
They were deployed on flights of KLM and Martinair to and from the United States, as a reaction on the 9/11 plane attacks. The trial period of their use has now ended, and it is unknown at this point whether they will return.
